My Dark Side
Michel is a projectionist at a local art house cinema, lonely and depressed from his break up from the love of his life Miranda. He works unsociable hours and fantasizes constantly about his memories in the format of films.
The objective of this piece is to demonstrate the loneliness of antisocial occupations and its inevitable strain on personal relationships in an artistic format. All locations were shot in Bath/Bristol.
My Dark Side has already made a splash at the Film Devour Festival in Belfast on 10th of August 2011.
My Language Is Not Knowing
My Language Is Not Knowing follows Belle a young woman who discovers the beauty of foreign languages and her ability to appreciate even without the ability to speak or know what they mean. The film was inspired by the director discovery of his dyslexia and by his long passion of listening to foreign music and films. The film was shot on location in Bristol, England. This film has been submitted to the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival, cross your fingers!

This was Élan Standard Productions Entry to the London 48 hour Sci-Fi short film completion in 2011.

Sam is about to dies. He has three minutes until lethal injection. Samson and Delilah follows Samuel Jeffries a civil servant who has angered government officials with his radical polices to help the common man in his community. The week leading up to Sam running for public office he is set up for killing his girlfriend. The Elan team challenged themselves to tell this complex story with only 200 feet of 16mm film.
